- Peer Leader Training
Peer mentors are a tremendous resource, taking an active role in the community and taking responsibility for other youth in need of help.
The Narconon training program for peer mentors and peer leaders was developed from many years experience training youth leaders in organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs, youth services groups and community action groups.
Our program isolates the specific skills young people need to become competent leaders amongst their peers and take an active role in combating substance abuse.
Program segments include a series on Communication and listening skills, interpersonal relationships and how to relay information on drug abuse. We even include a section on what it really takes to set a good example for elementary school aged children in today's culture including showing young people that life is better without drugs.
